A graduate of Yale University, Stanford University, the London School of Economics, and the selective Peking-Yale University joint program in Beijing, China, Sam has advised over 100 successful applicants to gain admission to the Ivy League and other highly selective colleges/universities in the United States.

Unlike many other admissions consultants, he has personally received over $200,000 in merit-based scholarship awards and gained admission as a nonlegacy, nonminority, and nonathlete to 10+ highly selective universities including Yale, Stanford, Wharton School at Penn, Dartmouth, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, NYU, Georgetown, Duke, Amherst, and Williams.

As a previous Yale Admissions interviewer and Yale club officer and the current director of scholarships for a national scholarship foundation, Sam has reviewed thousands of applications to U.S. colleges and knows exactly what it takes for students to successfully differentiate themselves and be offered admission in today’s extremely competitive environment.

His professional career includes work at the Boston Consulting Group, a world renowned international business strategy firm; Crown Capital, a real estate private equity fund; and the Nicklaus Companies, an international holding company for championship golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Helen graduated from MIT with a degree in biological engineering and minor in management science. She is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society (top 1/8th of the class). Helen has served as a mentor, consultant, and board member of numerous education development organizations in the United States and abroad. She has had extensive experience in helping candidates successfully differentiate themselves in college and graduate school applications as well as during the job search process. Hoping to contribute to entrepreneurship in biotechnology, Helen has pursued opportunities in both science and finance, and she authored several scientific publications at MIT.

Yuxiu graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in history and from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a masters of science in media studies. She has extensive experience in college application consulting. Her students have been accepted to Cornell University and NYU, and many witnessed 200+ raise in their SAT scores after one-on-one tutorials with her. A native of Beijing, she was admitted to Yale in Early Action and received a full scholarship. In her search for graduate schools, she received 8+ offers from top universities including Columbia University, University of Chicago and MIT with full scholarships. At MIT, she focused on digital image sharing and collection practices and their cultural and commercial implications. She also worked at the MIT Education Arcade and assisted with the design and development of educational platforms. Professionally, she has worked with Sotheby’s Auction House, Langham Hotel in Hong Kong, and the Boston Consulting Group.

Tim has extensive legal experience in corporate transactional matters, including complex public and private securities offerings, public and private M&A transactions, as well as banking and corporate restructuring. Prior to EB5AN, Timothy was an attorney at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, one of the top law firms in the world where he worked directly with Fortune 500 Companies in the hospitality, media, manufacturing, financial, banking, private equity and real estate spaces. Tim also has extensive entertainment experience having worked as general counsel for one of the largest entertainment companies in the People’s Republic of China. Tim holds a B.S. in computer science from Yale University and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.

Faren graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in women, gender, and sexuality studies, and minoring in education and english literature. An amateur golfer, she played competitively as a starter on WUSTL’s Division III team and knows the formula for success as a student athlete. Faren also took classes at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science. Since 2001, Faren has worked as the co-founder of Children’s Books on Tape, a Florida 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that reaches out to children in disadvantaged lower-income schools by providing elementary-level recorded books-on-tape. For her active community service involvement and leadership skills, she was awarded the Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Scholarship Award for First Place, out of a pool of over three hundred highly qualified students in Palm Beach County, Florida.
